Age Friendly activities are open to any person 50+ and no membership is required.
Age Friendly members do sometimes receive a "Perk" first option to register.
Van Adventures
Let's hop into the Lewiston Recreation van and take a ride! We will explore Maine and what it has to offer! The van will load up at the Armory at 9:00/10:00 a.m. depending on location of adventure and we will return around 1:00 p.m. Each experience will be a 20 to 60 minute drive to a location. Some locations will have food and beverages you can buy at your expense and some you will need to pack a lunch. The locations will be listed, and all 7 participants will need to register.
Trips: Specific trip locations will be announced 30 days in advance. Some locations will be outside and some inside.
Van Information: This is a large van with side door access, bench seating with small step stool to enter the van.
Age Friendly Perk Program Members will have 48 hours advanced registration availability prior to the general public.

Portland Ballet: A Victorian Nut Cracker
Details:
Our van will leave the Lewiston Armory at 8:45 am. After the show we will stop by a local restaurant for lunch before we head back home to Lewiston.
This group is limited to 7
participants.
$12 Lewiston Residents
$15 Non Residents
Note: There is a 2.5% non refundable charge when using a credit card.
Cancellation Policy: Trips that cost $1 to $10 only a credit will be issued for cancellations.
Other trip refunds issued by the Lewiston Recreation Age Friendly Program will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.
Trips cannot be cancelled 14 days prior to the trip date. You are advised to find someone to purchase your spot to keep from losing money.
