Age Friendly activities are open to any person 50+ and no membership is required.
The Age Friendly 50+ Program will be planning several trips a month.
Depending on the destination of the trip the bus may leave from the Lewiston
Armory or the Park & Ride at the Lewiston Exit.
The destination will be announced in this newsletter and can be found online

For now, the trips will be, first come first serve basis. Registration is

These trips will be limited to 7 passengers for the van and once we have our bus back, we will open it back up for 14 participants. Make sure to put your name on the wait list!
??????Mystery Lunch Trips???????
Departure: Lewiston Armory at 10:30 AM Return: Approx 2:00 PM
Fee: $3 Lewiston Residents $5 Non Res. Cost covers transportation. Lunch is on
your own.
Dates: Monday, June 29th & Friday, July 24th (FULL)
Location: It's a mystery! We will be using the bus.
!!!!!!!!!!Light House Tour!!!!!!!!!!
This tour will last through the summer with a different light house each time.Some light houses have small cafes, food trucks or restaurants on site forlunch. If the light house does not have food options, the van/bus will stop onthe way home for a bite to eat.
Date: Monday-June 22 Pemaquid Light House- Bristol, Maine (FULL)
Departure: Lewiston Armory at 9:00 AM Return: Approx 4:00 PM
Fee: $7 Lewiston Resident $9 Non-Res.
Entrance fee will be each individuals responsibility. We will be using the bus.
You will have 3 hours once we arrive to take in the scenery, have lunch at the
Seagull Restaurant or browse the art exhibit next door. If you prefer to bring a
picnic lunch, there are picnic tables available. We will be using the bus.
Date: Monday- July 27th Bath Maritime Museum Boat Trip (FULL)
Departure: Lewiston Armory at 10:00 AM Boat Trip: 12:00 to 1:00
Departure from Bath: 3:00 PM Return to Armory : Approx 4:00 PM
Fee: $40 Lewiston Resident $42 Non-Res.
Take a boat trip to see Doubling Point Lighthouse and the Kennebec Range
Light. After the boat ride we will stay a little while and you can explore the
museum on your own. Bring a lunch or access the cafe on site. This is rain or
shine unless the museum cancels for inclement weather. We will be using the
bus.
Note:
There is a 2.5% non refundable charge when using a credit card.
Cancellation Policy: Trips that cost $1 to $10 only a credit will be issued for cancellations.
Other trip refunds issued by the Lewiston Recreation Age Friendly Program will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.
Trips cannot be cancelled 14 days prior to the trip date.
