Welcome to the Lewiston Senior Citizens Program page!
We are a private organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Our activities happen at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. in the Senior Center. Included with our annual membership fee are activities which are listed below as well as a monthly newsletter.

Lewiston Senior Citizens Weekly Games
Games at the armory are available to Lewiston Senior Citizens Program Members only, registration is not required and some additional fees may apply.
Bingo every second and fourth Wed. of the month. Doors open at 8:00AM
Fee for cards. Cards sold 10:30 to 11:45. Game starts promptly at 12:00PM.

Cribbage every Thursday. Doors open at 8 a.m. play starts at 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Fee for league (Sept. to May) and optional weekly pool. Cribbage continues June to August.

Arts & Crafts: Once a month announced in the newsletter. $5 fee paid at time of activity. Pat Hall, Program Manager. Registration is only available by calling the office (207) 513-3059.
Reminder: If inclement weather occurs LSC activities are cancelled when the Lewiston Public Schools system closes. If there is a 2 hour delay Cribbage and Bingo are cancelled. This decision is up to each program manager.

Membership Luncheons
Lewiston Senior Citizens Luncheons and speaker are scheduled generally every other month with some exceptions. (Sept. Thanksgivings and Holiday events, January, March, May, and summer fun day)
Lunches and special events are advertised in the monthly LSC newsletter.
Registration and ticket purchases for these lunches can be done online (scroll below and click on link) by phone or in the office.

Break out your best tie dye clothes and join in on the fun!
Date: Monday, August 24, 2026
Time: 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Location: Left Hand Club, Old County Road to
Wagg Road, Lisbon ME 04250
Fee: $10.00 per person, cash bar available ( You do not need to be a LSC member to attend and you can register a friend or relative.)
Food: Hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, chips, dessert and water will be provided. Beverages cannot be brought to the event, they must be purchased at the facility.

Day Trips
Trip information will be posted here when they are scheduled and announced by the LSC Board of directors.
OGUNQUIT PLAYHOUSE - WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2026 (FULL waitlist only)
Join us on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 to enjoy music of the Temptations. The play "Ain't Too Proud" covers the life and music of the Temptations. We leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 12 Noon and travel to the playhouse. After the play we head to the Clambake in Scarborough for a meal on your own. The cost per person is $112.00 which covers the bus, play, bus driver's tip.
Deadline to sign up is Thursday, April 23, 2026.
FOSTER'S CLAMBAKE - WEDNESDAY - JUNE 24, 2026
We will leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 9:30 a.m. and head straight to Foster's Clambake. After our meal we will visit Stonewall Kitchen's large store in York. The cost is $106.00 per person and includes your meal, the bus and driver's tip.
When you sign up you need to tell us your meal choice of either lobster, chicken or polenta. Each meal includes clam chowder, steamed clams, mussels, corn on the cob, roasted red potatoes, onion, rolls and blueberry crumb cake. There will be coffee, tea, water and lemonade. A cash bar will also be available.
Deadline to sign up is Monday, May 25, 2026.
Tall Ships-Monday July 13, 2026 (Full -wait list available)
If you have always wanted to see the Tall Ships in Boston Harbor please join us on Monday, July 13, 2026. We will leave the park and ride in Lewiston at 8:15 am and head to CJ Victoria Fishing Charters in Boston. We will board our boat at 11:35 am and sail out to see the Tall Ships. We will return at 1:15 pm and head to the Cheesecake Factory in Cambridge for an included lunch. After lunch we will return home. The cost is $145.00 which includes the bus, the boat, meal at the Cheesecake Factory and bus driver tip.
Deadline to sign up is June 4, 2026.
MAINE BOTANICAL GARDENS -WEDNESDAY - AUGUST 26, 2026
We will leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 8:15 a.m. and head to Boothbay. You will have the morning to view all the beautiful flowers and the gigantic trolls.
When we leave the gardens we will stop at the Taste of Maine for lunch on your own. We should be home around 4 p.m. The price is $76.00 pp which includes the bus, gardens admission and tips. Deadline to sign up in the office or on line is July 24th, 2026.
Haunted ride on the Charles River-Tuesday, October 27, 2026
We will leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 9:00 am and go to the Cheesecake Factory for an included lunch. After lunch we will board the boat and learn about the haunted areas around the river. After the boat ride we will head home. Cost is $130 pp which includes lunch, the boat, and tips for the meal and bus driver. Deadline to sign up is September 29, 2006.
Lewiston Senior Citizens Program/Lewiston Recreation Dept. Cancellation Policy:
If the LSC trip cancellation is more than 14 days away from the date, a refund is given minus a $10 administration service charge. The 2.5% credit card use charge is nonrefundable.
If the cancellation is within the 14-day period of the trip date without medical reason, there will be no refund. If LSC fills the spot with someone on the waitlist, reimbursement may be available.
Trips are non-transferable.
Online Registration Information:
-You do not need to be a LSC member to register for day trips. You must have an account set up in MY Rec to register online. If you are a 2024 LSC Member there is an account set up for you already.
-Click on the trip you are choosing. Follow each step carefully when you get to completing your purchases you'll have 2 options.
Option 1: A complete online registration to purchase a trip or membership is only available by credit card purchase.
Option 2: If you want to register online but not use a credit card you can do this but your seat is not reserved until approved by Lewiston Rec staff. This is called Pre-registration. When you reach the choice of CHECK OUT ON LINE or PRINT A PRE-REGISTRATION FORM click on Print a pre-registration form. Please call 513-3059 and make Stephanie aware of this choice.
