Lewiston Recreation Fall Youth Soccer is open to boys & girls from
Pre-k through 6th Grade!

Join our Coaching Team! Youth Sports Volunteers are the heart of our programs. Join our coaching team to help us foster a positive and supportive environment for our young athletes. Contact Alyssa Davis at adavis@lewistonmaine.gov to learn about coaching opportunities and our coaching discount! 

Mini Kickers Pre-K Soccer (Adult Participation Required)

Dates: Saturdays 9/7 - 10/12
Times: 8:00am - 8:45am 
Location: Fleurette Roux Bannon Field, Jefferson St 
Ages: 3 - 4 years old
Cost: $55.00 Residents, $65.00 Non-Residents
Equipment: Players should wear comfortable clothes, sneakers or cleats, and bring a water bottle. Shin guards are recommended.   
Description: Mini-Kickers Soccer Program will be following a SMART START format, which will introduce your little athlete to soccer in a fun-non threatening way! Parent/Guardian participation is required, please be prepared to be on the field. Players will receive a Lewiston Recreation soccer shirt and a soccer ball! 
Picture Day: Saturday, September 14th at the program 


Little Kickers Kindergarten Soccer

Dates: Saturdays 9/7 - 10/12
Times: 9:00am - 9:45am 
Location:Fleurette Roux Bannon Field, Jefferson St
Grade: Kindergarten
Cost: $55.00 Residents, $65.00 Non-Residents
Equipment: Players should wear comfortable clothes, sneakers or cleats, shin guards, mouth guards are encouraged and bring a water bottle. Soccer balls will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. 
Description: Your child will learn introductory soccer skills, good sportsmanship, and about being part of a team. The first 20 minutes of the program will be a team practice, the second 20 minutes we will play 4 vs. 4 soccer games! Players will receive a Lewiston Recreation soccer shirt.
Volunteer Coaches: Teams are lead by volunteer coaches. If you are interested in volunteering please email Alyssa Davis at adavis@lewistonmaine.gov. Volunteers receive a free program registration, a coaching shirt, and resources for a fun season!
Picture Day: Saturday, September 14th at the program


1st & 2nd Grade Co-Ed Soccer 

Practice Dates & Times: Tuesdays 8/27-10/10. The first week of the program teams will practice on Tuesday 8/27 & Thursday 8/29. Games will begin the following week on Thursdays. Choose between a 4:30pm or 5:30pm practice. 
Game Dates & Times: Thursdays 9/5 - 10/10, 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Schedule will be finalized once registration is closed. 
Practice & Game Location: Fleurette Roux Bannon Field, Jefferson St
Cost: $65.00 Residents, $75.00 Non-Residents
Equipment: Players should wear comfortable clothes, sneakers or cleats, shin guards, mouth guards are encouraged, and bring a water bottle. Soccer balls will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. 
Description: Twice a week program with practices & games. Game play will be 4 vs. 4. Your child will learn the FUNdamentals of soccer. Players will receive a Lewiston Recreation soccer shirt.
Volunteer Coaches: Teams are lead by volunteer coaches. If you are interested in volunteering please email Alyssa Davis at adavis@lewistonmaine.gov. Volunteers receive a free program registration, a coaching shirt, and resources for a fun season!
Picture Day: Tuesday, September 10th at practice 


3rd & 4th Grade Co-Ed Soccer 

Practice Dates & Times: Teams will practice on both Monday 8/26 & Wednesday 8/28. After that it will go to Mondays only from 9/9 - 10/7. Practice time is from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. (No program on Monday, Sept 2nd for Labor Day)
Practice & Game Location: Fleurette Roux Bannon Field, 91 Jefferson St
Game Dates & Times: Games will start Wednesday 9/11 - 10/6, 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Schedule will be finalized once registration is closed. 
Cost: $65.00 Residents, $75.00 Non-Residents
Equipment: Players should wear comfortable clothes, sneakers or cleats, shin guards, mouth guard, and bring a water bottle. Soccer balls will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. 
Description: Twice a week program with practices & games. Teams may play against neighboring Recreation Departments. Families should expect to travel to games outside of Lewiston. Game play will be 7 vs. 7. May differ depending on attendance. Players will receive a Lewiston Recreation soccer shirt.
Volunteer Coaches: Teams are lead by volunteer coaches. If you are interested in volunteering please email Alyssa Davis at adavis@lewistonmaine.gov. Volunteers receive a free program registration, a coaching shirt, and resources for a fun season!
Picture Day: Wednesday, 9/25 before games start. 


5th & 6th Grade Girls & Boys Travel Soccer 

Practice Dates & Times: Tuesdays 8/27-10/18 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. 
Practice Location: Fleurette Roux Bannon Field, Jefferson St
Game Dates & Times: Saturdays 9/7 - 10/26. Schedule to be determined. 
Game Locations: Home games will be at Fleurette Roux Bannon Field, 91 Jefferson St . Away games will be announced once the schedule is finalized. 
Cost: $65.00 Residents, $75.00 Non-Residents
Equipment: Players should wear comfortable clothes, sneaker or cleats, shin guards, mouth guard, and bring a water bottle. Soccer balls will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. 
Description: Our 5th & 6th Grade Girls & Boys teams participate in the Tri-County Soccer League. Depending on registration numbers we may have to combined into a co-ed team. The league includes other Recreation Departments & Youth Sport Programs such as Poland, Sabattus, Greene, St.Doms, Turner, and more! This is a twice a week program with Tuesday practices and Saturday games. Families should expect to travel to games outside of Lewiston. Game play will be 11 vs. 11. Players will receive a Lewiston Recreation soccer shirt.
