Adult Volleyball
Lewiston Recreation offers 5 Adult Volleyball leagues of various levels of play. Only 1 person, typically the captain of the team, will need to register for a league. If you don't have a team, you can reach out to Tim Duchette at tduchette@lewistonmaine.gov to see if any current captains who have registered need a player OR join the Facebook groups for each league and join a team there. The 2 groups are called "COED B & C Volleyball" and "Lewiston RCO Volleyball."

COED B Volleyball League This league, played on Wednesdays, is meant for veteran players of the sport that includes 1 practice week where you will scrimmage against another team. This is then followed by a competitive 10 week regular season and a 2 week single elimination playoffs to decide who the League Champs are! We offer both a Fall/Winter Season (Oct. to Mid Jan.) & a Winter/Spring (Late Jan. to Mid April). Game start times are 7:15PM, 8:15PM or 9:15PM.

COED C Volleyball League This league, played on Wednesdays, is meant for those who are new or still learning the sport of volleyball which includes 1 practice week where you scrimmage against another team. This is then followed by a competitive 10 week regular season and a 2 week single elimination playoffs to decide who the League Champs are! We offer both a Fall/Winter Season (Oct. to Mid Jan.) & a Winter/Spring (Late Jan. to Mid April). Game start times are 7:15PM, 8:15PM, or 9:15PM.

Reverse COED 4s Volleyball Leagues There is 2 levels, played on Mondays, for veterans of volleyball and those who know and have played by the Reverse COED rules. Both levels will have 5 teams max, however, depending on interest in either league, more teams may be added by using the middle court.

The first league is C+ Level (18 pts cap) which at most allows you 2 C+ players & 2 B- players.

The second league is B- Level (22 pts cap) which at most allows a team 3 B players & 1 C+ player.

Both leagues will be a competitive 10 week regular season followed up by a 2 week single elimination playoffs to decide who the League Champs are! We offer both a Fall/Winter Season (Mid Oct. to Mid Jan.). Game start times are 7:30PM or 9:15PM. Winter/Spring season will be determined based on Fall/Winter numbers.

Reverse COED A Volleyball League This league, played on Thursdays, is for veterans of volleyball and those who know and have played by the Reverse COED rules. This is a competitive 20 week season including playoffs (format is To Be Determined) to decide who the League Champs are! Game start times are at 7:30PM.
