Youth XC
Lewiston Recreation Youth Cross Country is open to children entering grades 1st-6th in the Fall. The program will have a mix of running games and running challenges, preparing these young athletes for their meets against other Recreation Departments. Runners will learn how to increase their endurance, run faster, and the ins and outs of a cross country meet. 

All runners will receive a team shirt!

Practice Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays 8/25 - 10/15 (No practice Monday 9/1 Labor Day & Monday 10/13 Indigenous Peoples' Day). 
Practice Time: 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Practice Location: McMahon Elementary School - 151 N Temple St, Lewiston
Meets: Saturdays or Sundays depending on the host site. Starting the weekend of 9/6. A detailed schedule will be available at the first practice. 
Picture Day: Stay tuned!  
Cost: $45.00 Residents, $55.00 Non-Residents 
Equipment: Comfortable clothes, sneakers, and a water bottle.
