Lewiston Recreation Youth Cross Country is open to children entering grades 1st-6th in the Fall. The program will have a mix of running games and running challenges, preparing these young athletes for their meets against other Recreation Departments. Runners will learn how to increase their endurance, speed, and the ins and outs of a cross country meet.
All runners will receive a team shirt!

Practice Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays 8/24 - 10/14 (No practice Monday 9/7 Labor Day & Monday 10/12 Indigenous Peoples' Day).
Practice Time: 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Practice Location: McMahon Elementary School - 151 N Temple St, Lewiston
Meets: Meets may be on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the host site starting the weekend of 9/12. The last meet of the season will be the State Meet in Cumberland on October 17th, rain date is October 18th. The meet schedule will be finalized by the first practice.
Cost: $50.00 Residents, $60.00 Non-Residents
Equipment: Comfortable clothes, sneakers, and a water bottle.
