Youth Volleyball - Summer Camps

This Summer, we once again have our week long camp of volleyball, however, there will be 2 levels of camp: Beginner Level & Advance Level. Both camps, all players will be competing against each other to earn points through the drills & games for prizes that are handed out on the last day!

Both camps will coached by Coach Ella, 4 year LHS Varsity Volleyball Player, Coach Tim, who oversees all volleyball programs of Lewiston Recreation Department.

Beginner Level Camp: This camp is geared towards players who are brand new or just began the sport. This camp will be more focused around the fundamentals such as hitting, serving, passing, but will include gameplay & other various games/drills.
  • When: June 23rd to June 26th (Everyday)
  • Time: 9AM-1:30PM (9AM-11AM Volleyball; 11AM-11:30AM Lunch/Break; 11:30AM-1:30PM More Volleyball)
  • Where: Geiger Elementary School, 601 College St. Lewiston, ME
  • Who: Boys & Girls; Grades 4th-11th (This is by what grade they will be in the Fall)
  • Cost: $110/Res; $125/Non-Res
  • What do I need: Water bottle, comfortable clothes, gym shoes, knee pads & lunch/snacks

Advance Level Camp: This is geared towards players who have been playing the sport for awhile and/or have experience at a higher level such as club volleyball. This camp will still focus on fundamentals, but will include more related to the game such as serve receive formations, defensive positions, jump serves & more.
  • When: June 23rd to June 26th (Everyday)
  • Time: 2PM-6:30PM (2PM-4PM Volleyball; 4PM-4:30PM Dinner/Break; 4:30PM-6:30PM More Volleyball)
  • Where: Geiger Elementary School, 601 College St. Lewiston, ME
  • Who: Boys & Girls: Grades 6th-12th (This is by what grade they will be in the Fall)
  • Cost: $110/Res; $125/Non-Res
  • What do I need: Water bottle, comfortable clothes, gym shoes, knee pads & dinner/snacks
