Intro to Field Hockey Registration Deadline: Wednesday, Sept. 1st or as space allows.
Travel 3rd-6th Grade Registration Deadline: Tuesday, Aug. 25th or as space allows.

Intro to Field Hockey (K-2nd)
Dates: Saturdays, Sept. 5th - Oct. 10th
Picture Day: TBD
Game Day: This will likely be a Sunday after Week 5 or 6.
Time: 8:00AM - 9:00AM
Location: Fleurette Roux Bannon Field, 91 Jefferson St
Grade: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade, Boys & Girls
Cost: $50 Residents; $60 Non-Residents
Equipment Needed: Shin Guards, running shoes/cleats, eyewear goggles, field hockey stick & mouth guard (required). Lewiston Recreation will have a limited number of field hockey sticks & shin guards at the field.
Description: Intro to Field Hockey is a 6 week clinic style format open to all skill levels to learn and develop your child's shooting, passing & defending skills of the sport!
Travel Field Hockey (3rd-6th)
Practice Dates & Times: Sept. 1st - Oct. 15th Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 5:00PM-6:15PM.
Picture Day: TBD
Practice Location: LAP Field (behind the Lewiston Armory), 65 Central Ave, Lewiston, ME.
Game Dates & Locations: Games on Sundays. Full Schedule TBD
Grade: 3rd - 6th, Boys & Girls
Cost: $65 Residents; $75 Non-Residents
Equipment Needed: Shin Guards, running shoes/cleats, eyewear goggles (highly encouraged), field hockey stick & mouth guard (required)
Description: Travel Field Hockey is the next step in learning and developing their knowledge of the game. They will work on more advanced skills, positions such as goalie, the rules of the game, teamwork & sportsmanship. They will have 2 practices a week and then home & away games with other towns such as Turner, Lakes Region & Poland. Depending on numbers and what grade everyone is, we may split into a 3rd/4th team & a 5th/6th grade team.
