Inaugural Pickleball Tournament

Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 1st for an Inaugural Pickleball Tournament that will lead into the official unveiling of the new North Temple St Pickleball Courts!

The unveiling will begin at 11AM where the tournament winners will be announced and presented a trophy to both members of the team. All participants of the trophy will be presented with an Inaugural Participant Medal.

  • Tournament Format: Mixed Doubles
    • 16 Teams Max (which will be split into 2 pools for round robin play)
    • All rules are governed by USA Pickleball
    • All matches will be played 0-11, win by 2 or whoever is leading after 10 minutes.
    • All teams will play in 10 matches for round robin play in their pool. This will be followed by playoffs where top 2 in each pool will play on and lead up to to winner of each pool playing each other to determine the tournament champions. NOTE This does all depend on the number of teams.
  • Where: 55 North Temple St, Lewiston, ME
  • When: 8AM-11AM (The first matches will begin at 8AM)
  • Cost: $10 per player; all players will register individually where a question will ask you who your partner is. If you are looking for a partner, please contact Tim Duchette at TDuchette@lewistonmaine.gov
