Maine Women's Lacrosse Officials Association (MWLOA) & Lewiston Recreation Department are teaming up to bring their Junior Officials Program to Lewiston!

The Junior Officials program of MWLOA is where they will work with high schoolers & adults during a 1 day class learning the rules, updates on the youth game & go through game like scenarios. In order for someone to become a Junior Official for youth games (3rd/4th & 5th/6th only), the following will be needed:
  • Be in 9th-12th grade or an adult (18+)
  • Be a USA Lacrosse Member (USA Lacrosse Website); If you do not have a membership, Kayla Billings will reach out to you about the steps you will need.
  • Take and pass the USA Lacrosse Youth Rules Test

Here is everything to know:
  • Where is the class: Don Roux Field (Lewiston High School), 156 East Ave, Lewiston, ME. If the weather is not suitable for outside, it will be held indoors at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. Lewiston, ME.
  • When: Sunday, April 6th from 9AM-12PM
  • Cost: $30 (this does not cover USA Lacrosse membership). Cost will cover officials t-shirt, a set of cards, whistle and class materials.
