Maine Women's Lacrosse Officials Association (MWLOA) & Lewiston Recreation Department are teaming up to bring their Junior Officials Program to Lewiston!
The Junior Officials program of MWLOA is where they will work with high schoolers & adults during a 1 day class learning the rules, updates on the youth game & go through game like scenarios. In order for someone to become a Junior Official for youth games (3rd/4th & 5th/6th only), the following will be needed:
- Be in 9th-12th grade or an adult (18+)
- Be a USA Lacrosse Member (USA Lacrosse Website); If you do not have a membership, Kayla Billings will reach out to you about the steps you will need.
- Take and pass the USA Lacrosse Youth Rules Test
Here is everything to know:
- Where is the class: Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. Lewiston, ME.
- When: Sunday, April 6th from 10AM-12:30PM
- Cost: $30 (this does not cover USA Lacrosse membership). Cost will cover officials t-shirt, a set of cards, whistle and class materials.
