Join the Lewiston Recreation Department this Fall as we begin our first year of Middle School Travel Volleyball! This program is for players who are interested in the sport and want to grow their skills where they will practice twice a week and then we will look to schedule games/play days with other towns throughout the season!
- Who: Boys & Girls; Grades 6th-8th
- Practice Dates: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, Sept. 9th to Oct. 29th
- Practice Times: 5PM-6:30PM
- Picture Day: October 8th at 4:45PM before practice begins
- Practice Location: Most days will be at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave, HOWEVER, depending on when the gym floor is being re-finished, practices will be held at Geiger or Connors Elementary School.
- Games: Games/play days will be both Home & Away and can be a weekday or weekend matchup. Will update here as they get added.
- Friday Oct. 3rd at 4:30PM vs Yarmouth @ Harrison Middle School, 220 McCartney St. Yarmouth, ME
- Friday Oct. 10th at 4:45PM vs TBD @ Home
- Thursday Oct. 16th at 4PM vs Greely @ Greely Middle School, 351 Tuttle Rd. Cumberland Center, ME
- Monday Oct. 20th at 4:30PM vs GNG @ Home
- Wednesday Oct. 22nd at 5:00PM vs Freeport @ Freeport High School, 30 Holbrook St. Freeport, ME
- Wednesday Oct. 29th at 5:00PM vs Freeport @ Home
- Cost: $70 Res.; $80 Non-Res.
- What do you need: Comfortable gym clothes & shoes, water bottle, knee pads. Lewiston Recreation will provide volleyballs at practice and all players will receive a shirt/jersey.
