USTA New England's Social Tennis League offers the opportunity for adults throughout New England to meet new people through the game of tennis. This league runs throughout the outdoor season and is a great way to improve your skills or get back into tennis in a fun, social environment. Since this league is match-based, you must be able to serve, rally, and know the rules of tennis at a minimum in order to join. This league is NOT for beginners.

Our first night is a fun hit around with group games and practice matches. You'll get to meet everyone and get some hitting in before teams are assigned and co-ed level-based matches begin in week 2. Team captains will set the weekly lineups and players will be assigned a one-hour match at either 6 or 7pm. (Please note: This format is subject to change slightly based on the number of participants, but matches will always be at least one hour in length.) The winning team at the end of the season will receive a prize!
 
We're also looking for a coordinator to help run this league on site. The coordinator gets to play for FREE and receives a special gift in exchange for handing out balls (provided by USTA) and recording match scores in a shared spreadsheet each week. Please email socialtennis@newengland.usta.com if you're interested in coordinating! The site coordinator will need to fill out a City of Lewiston Volunteer Packet.

Location: Anita Murphy Tennis Courts at Lewiston High School - 156 East Ave, Lewiston
Ages: 18 and Up!
Cost: $75 Residents, $85 Non-Residents
