New this year, Lewiston Recreation Middle School & High School teams will be participating in a Rec. Basketball League with other Recreation Departments!
Join our Coaching Team! Youth Sports Volunteers are the heart of our programs. Join our coaching team to help us foster a positive and supportive environment for our young athletes. Volunteer coaches will receive a FREE player registration for overseeing a team. If you are interested in coaching please reach out to Stephan Samba, Community Sports Aide at ssamba@lewistonmaine.gov
Co-ed Middle School Basketball (12/15 Update: This program is full)
Practice Dates: Mondays starting December 8th - March 23rd
Practice Time & Location: 5:00pm - 6:00p @ the Lewiston Armory (65 Central Ave, Lewiston)
Game Dates: Saturdays starting Wednesday January 7th.
Games Times: Saturday afternoons between 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
Game Locations: Home games will be at the Lewiston Armory (65 Central Ave) or Lewiston Middle School (75 Central Ave). Away games will be scheduled, families should be prepared to travel.
Grades: 7th & 8th Boys and Girls
Cost: $70.00 Lewiston Resident, $80.00 Non-Resident
Equipment: Comfortable clothes, sneakers, and a water bottle.
Volunteer Coaches: Coaches are provided practice plan resources. If you are interested or would like to learn more about becoming a volunteer coach please email Stephan Samba at ssamba@lewistonmaine.gov . As a thank you, coaches get a free registration and a coaching shirt!

Practice Time & Location: 6:00pm - 7:00p @ the Lewiston Armory (65 Central Ave,Lewiston)
Game Dates: Wednesdays and Saturdays starting Saturday, January 17th
