Minds in Motion Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) & Future Engineers!
Kids have the opportunity to become an investigator where they will learn all about forensics, searching for evidence, and gathering clues. They will also perform chemical analyses and observations working with powders, liquids, and much more! Participants will go home with their own detective kit as well!
Kids will also have the opportunity to become an engineer & build an adventure of physics, gravity, and action! Through 26 model-building exercises, you'll investigate all six classic simple machines - wheels & axels, levers, pulleys, inclined planes, screws, and wedges - as well as gears. All participants will go home with their own engineering kit too!
- Dates: July 6 - July 10
- Times: Varies by which camp(s) you are attending:
- CSI Camp: 9AM-12PM
- Future Engineers Camp: 12:30PM-3:30PM
- Location: Lewiston Armory located at 65 Central Ave, Lewiston, ME
- Ages/Grades: 7 - 12 years old
- Registration Fees:
- Individual Camp (CSI or Future Engineers): $175/Residents; $185/Non-Residents
- Both Camps: $325/Residents; $335/Non-Residents
- What You will need: Water Bottle & excitement to learn! If you are attending both camps, please bring a lunch and they will eat between 12PM-12:30PM.
