Lewiston Recreation is excited to partner with Pelletier's Karate Academy to offer evening exercise classes at the Lewiston Armory. Check out the options below.
Okinawa Kempo- Traditional Karate
Dates: Monday-Thursday Evenings, attending twice a week
Times: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Cost (per month):
INDIVIDUAL $100 R/$110 NR
FAMILY $150 R/$160 NR
Whether you are looking for stress reduction, weight loss, the ability to defend yourself, the challenge of earning a black belt, or the desire to compete, karate can be right for you. Okinawa Kenpo, a traditional style of karate, is adapted to today’s lifestyles. Each individual sets his or her own goals and is encouraged to take the training to the level of his or her own capability, and schedule.
Each class is different to teach the many skills that are part of karate. Participants will learn karate basics, katas (set forms and patterns), self-defense, sparring, and traditional weapons.
Cardio Kickboxing
Dates: Monday-Thursday Evenings
Times: 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Cost (per month):
INDIVIDUAL $50 R/$55 NR
This class offers high intensity workouts combined with strength straining to get the most calorie burn.
