Youth Softball Season: Jr. Blue Devils - 8U Softball Fundamentals
Lewiston Recreation Department is excited to bring youth softball back to Lewiston! There will be 3 age groups offered: 8U, 10U & 12U. Dates: Thursdays, May 1st to June 5th
Time: 5PM-6PM
Location: Ron Morin Memorial Field, 381 Randall Rd. Lewiston, ME
Cost: $50 Res/$60 Non-Res
Equipment: All players will need their own softball glove. Lewiston Recreation Department will provide bats & helmets, however, if you have your own to use, you can.
Description: 8U Youth Softball program will be a 6 week fundamentals program where participants each week will work on all the skills through various drills, fun games & game play. This level will be coach pitch as well.
10U Youth Travel Softball
Evaluation Night: TBD & depending on numbers
Practice Dates & Times: Mondays 5PM-6:15PM & Wednesdays 6PM-7:15PM, April 28th to June 18th
Practice Location: Ron Morin Memorial Fields, 381 Randall Rd, Lewiston, ME
Game Dates & Locations: We will not be apart of the Babe Ruth League, however, we will look into scheduling games with other towns that could be Home or Away. Any Away games will be no more than an hour.
Cost: $85 Res/ $95 Non-Res
Equipment: Softball Glove, Grey, Black or White Softball Pants (either style) Lewiston Recreation will have a team bag with bats, helmets & face guards, however, if you do have your own you are welcome to use it.
Description: 10U Youth Softball program will consists of 2 practices a week on Mondays & Wednesdays for 8 weeks. We will look at scheduling games with other towns during the season where they could be at Home or Away. Players will work on all skills including pitching as this level is player pitch.
