Our activities happen at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. in the Senior Center. Included with our annual membership fee are activities which are listed below as well as a monthly newsletter. Lunches and special events are advertised only in the monthly LSC newsletter for members. Registration for these lunches needs to be done on the phone or in the office. Online registration is not available for these events. January 2026 LuncheonLocation: The Senior Center at the Lewiston Armory         Date: Monday, January 26th       Time: 12:15Our first of the New Year Membership luncheon will be on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Senior Center in the Lewiston armory.Lunch will be at 12:15 p.m.  It will be prepared by Rolly's  Diner.  We will have Beef Stew, Biscuits, Beverages and  Dessert.  The cost of lunch will be provided by the Lewiston Senior Citizens.After lunch we will have a speaker from Andwell.There is limited seating so please get your tickets in the office before January 21st.    Day TripsTrip information will be posted here when they are scheduled and announced by the LSC Board of directors.  Lewiston Senior Citizens Program Cancellation Policy: If the LSC trip cancellation is more than 14 days away from the date, a refund is given minus a $10 administration service charge. The 2.5% credit card use charge is nonrefundable.If the cancellation is within the 14-day period of the trip date without medical reason, there will be no refund. If LSC fills the spot with someone on the waitlist, reimbursement may be available. Trips are non-transferable. Online Registration Information:-You do not need to be a LSC member to register for day trips. You must have an account set up in MY Rec to register online. If you are a 2024 LSC Member there is an account set up for you already.-Click on the trip you are choosing. In an effort to promote healthy lifestyles the goal of this program is to encourage the area 50+ population to take advantage of the outdoors, get some exercise and eat healthy.Time:The Bates Walking Group will start walking again Friday Sept.5th until mid Oct. at 10:00 to 11:00. Location:We will meet at Bates College Campus on the right side of the Dining Services building at the red picnic tables and walk throughout the campus. Stephanie will lead a slower paced walk with available seating if needed.Those who choose to can end the sessions at Bates Dining Commons to take advantage of their lunch menu for $12. Join us this Fall for 5 weeks of LEGO Robotics where kids will be introduced to coding, working in teams & using their creative minds on different builds from an Amusement Park to a Break Dancing Robot!Intro to LEGO Robotics: Evening Class: This program is designed for kids who are eager to learn new things about robotics including how to code. This will be an introductory class. Participants will be put into teams of 3 max per kit to learn together and work as a team. Online registration is not available for these events. January 2026 LuncheonLocation: The Senior Center at the Lewiston Armory         Date: Monday, January 26th       Time: 12:15Our first of the New Year Membership luncheon will be on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Senior Center in the Lewiston armory.Lunch will be at 12:15 p.m.  It will be prepared by Rolly's  Diner.  We will have Beef Stew, Biscuits, Beverages and  Dessert.  The cost of lunch will be provided by the Lewiston Senior Citizens.After lunch we will have a speaker from Andwell.There is limited seating so please get your tickets in the office before January 21st.    Day TripsTrip information will be posted here when they are scheduled and announced by the LSC Board of directors.  Lewiston Senior Citizens Program Cancellation Policy: If the LSC trip cancellation is more than 14 days away from the date, a refund is given minus a $10 administration service charge. The 2.5% credit card use charge is nonrefundable.If the cancellation is within the 14-day period of the trip date without medical reason, there will be no refund. If LSC fills the spot with someone on the waitlist, reimbursement may be available. Trips are non-transferable. Online Registration Information:-You do not need to be a LSC member to register for day trips. You must have an account set up in MY Rec to register online. If you are a 2024 LSC Member there is an account set up for you already.-Click on the trip you are choosing. Follow each step carefully when you get to completing your purchases you'll have 2 options. Option 1: A complete online registration to purchase a trip or membership is only available by credit card purchase.Option 2: If you want to register online but not use a credit card you can do this but your seat is not reserved until approved by Lewiston Rec staff. Location:We will meet at Bates College Campus on the right side of the Dining Services building at the red picnic tables and walk throughout the campus. Stephanie will lead a slower paced walk with available seating if needed.Those who choose to can end the sessions at Bates Dining Commons to take advantage of their lunch menu for $12. Join us this Fall for 5 weeks of LEGO Robotics where kids will be introduced to coding, working in teams & using their creative minds on different builds from an Amusement Park to a Break Dancing Robot!Intro to LEGO Robotics: Evening Class: This program is designed for kids who are eager to learn new things about robotics including how to code. Location:We will meet at Bates College Campus on the right side of the Dining Services building at the red picnic tables and walk throughout the campus. Yes you heard that right.....12 Tuesdays! The goal of this club is to provide a chance to socialize, learn something new, grab a bite to eat and more importantly have some fun. Teen Adventure Days? What's that? Every month, Lewiston Recreation Staff will provide Lewiston teens on a series of one day adventures and events! Let the adventure begin! 1/7/26 Moonstone Pottery Splatter Room!Come make some art on the first half day of the year! We will be going over to Moonstone Pottery's splatter room where they will provide a canvas for participants. Welcome to the Lewiston Senior Citizens Program page! We are a private organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Our activities happen at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. in the Senior Center. Included with our annual membership fee are activities which are listed below as well as a monthly newsletter. If there is a 2 hour delay Cribbage and Bingo are cancelled. This decision is up to each program manager.            Membership LuncheonsLewiston Senior Citizens Luncheons are scheduled generally every other month with some exceptions. Lunches and special events are advertised only in the monthly LSC newsletter for members. Registration for these lunches needs to be done on the phone or in the office. Online registration is not available for these events. January 2026 LuncheonLocation: The Senior Center at the Lewiston Armory         Date: Monday, January 26th       Time: 12:15Our first of the New Year Membership luncheon will be on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Senior Center in the Lewiston armory.Lunch will be at 12:15 p.m.  It will be prepared by Rolly's  Diner.  We will have Beef Stew, Biscuits, Beverages and  Dessert.  The cost of lunch will be provided by the Lewiston Senior Citizens.After lunch we will have a speaker from Andwell.There is limited seating so please get your tickets in the office before January 21st.    Day TripsTrip information will be posted here when they are scheduled and announced by the LSC Board of directors.  Lewiston Senior Citizens Program Cancellation Policy: If the LSC trip cancellation is more than 14 days away from the date, a refund is given minus a $10 administration service charge. The 2.5% credit card use charge is nonrefundable.If the cancellation is within the 14-day period of the trip date without medical reason, there will be no refund. If LSC fills the spot with someone on the waitlist, reimbursement may be available. Trips are non-transferable. Online Registration Information:-You do not need to be a LSC member to register for day trips. You must have an account set up in MY Rec to register online. If you are a 2024 LSC Member there is an account set up for you already.-Click on the trip you are choosing. Follow each step carefully when you get to completing your purchases you'll have 2 options. Option 1: A complete online registration to purchase a trip or membership is only available by credit card purchase.Option 2: If you want to register online but not use a credit card you can do this but your seat is not reserved until approved by Lewiston Rec staff. This is called Pre-registration. When you reach the choice of  CHECK OUT ON LINE or PRINT A PRE-REGISTRATION FORM click on Print a pre-registration form. Have you always wanted to make movies but didn't know where to start? This is the program for you! The Young Filmmakers program will walk participants through each step of the film making process.
