Welcome to the Lewiston Senior Citizens Program page! We are a private organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Our activities happen at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. in the Senior Center. Included with our annual membership fee are activities which are listed below as well as a monthly newsletter. Cash, check or credit card accepted.   Day TripsTrip information will be posted here when they are scheduled and announced by the LSC Board of directors.  Registration Opens Feb. 19th, 2026OGUNQUIT PLAYHOUSE - WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2026Join us on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 to enjoy music of the Temptations.  The play "Ain't Too Proud" covers the life and music of the Temptations.  We leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 12 Noon and travel to the playhouse.  After the play we head to the Clambake in Scarborough for a meal on your own.  The cost per person is $112.00 which covers the bus, play, bus driver's tip. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, April 23, 2026.   FOSTER'S CLAMBAKE - WEDNESDAY - JUNE 24, 2026We will leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 9:30 a.m. and head straight to     Foster's Clambake.  After our meal we will visit Stonewall Kitchen's large store in York.  The cost is $106.00 per person and includes your meal, the bus and      driver's tip.  When you sign up you need to tell us your meal choice of either lobster, chicken or polenta.  Each meal includes clam chowder, steamed clams, mussels, corn on the cob, roasted red potatoes, onion, rolls and blueberry crumb cake.  There will be coffee, tea, water and lemonade. A cash bar will also be available.  Deadline to sign up is Monday, May 25, 2026.   Lewiston Senior Citizens Program Cancellation Policy: If the LSC trip cancellation is more than 14 days away from the date, a refund is given minus a $10 administration service charge. The 2.5% credit card use charge is nonrefundable.If the cancellation is within the 14-day period of the trip date without medical reason, there will be no refund. If LSC fills the spot with someone on the waitlist, reimbursement may be available. Trips are non-transferable. Online Registration Information:-You do not need to be a LSC member to register for day trips. You must have an account set up in MY Rec to register online. If you are a 2024 LSC Member there is an account set up for you already.-Click on the trip you are choosing. Follow each step carefully when you get to completing your purchases you'll have 2 options. Option 1: A complete online registration to purchase a trip or membership is only available by credit card purchase.Option 2: If you want to register online but not use a credit card you can do this but your seat is not reserved until approved by Lewiston Rec staff. DROP IN GAMES (Registration not required) Join us to play Canasta, Casual Cribbage, UNO or something of your choosing! All levels welcome and we'll teach you if you are new to the game! These games are "drop in" and registration is NOT required. CanastaEvery Monday. The Senior Room/Drill Room is available for you to use to join us in Canasta or other games if you choose. Day: Monday Time: 1:00 to 3:00.Casual Cribbage GameWe are starting a Casual Cribbage time for the 50 + population.This is being offered for those who want to learn how to play cribbage or just want to casually play a game and have a few laughs! It's winter but we’re not going to let Cabin Fever get to us!January through March every Tuesday from 10:15 to 12:30 there will something happening in the Senior Room at the Lewiston Armory for the 50+ population. Cash, check or credit card accepted.   Day TripsTrip information will be posted here when they are scheduled and announced by the LSC Board of directors.  Registration Opens Feb. 19th, 2026OGUNQUIT PLAYHOUSE - WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2026Join us on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 to enjoy music of the Temptations.  The play "Ain't Too Proud" covers the life and music of the Temptations.  We leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 12 Noon and travel to the playhouse.  After the play we head to the Clambake in Scarborough for a meal on your own.  The cost per person is $112.00 which covers the bus, play, bus driver's tip. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, April 23, 2026.   FOSTER'S CLAMBAKE - WEDNESDAY - JUNE 24, 2026We will leave the Lewiston Park and Ride at 9:30 a.m. and head straight to     Foster's Clambake.  After our meal we will visit Stonewall Kitchen's large store in York.  The cost is $106.00 per person and includes your meal, the bus and      driver's tip.  When you sign up you need to tell us your meal choice of either lobster, chicken or polenta.  Each meal includes clam chowder, steamed clams, mussels, corn on the cob, roasted red potatoes, onion, rolls and blueberry crumb cake.  There will be coffee, tea, water and lemonade. A cash bar will also be available.  Deadline to sign up is Monday, May 25, 2026.   Lewiston Senior Citizens Program Cancellation Policy: If the LSC trip cancellation is more than 14 days away from the date, a refund is given minus a $10 administration service charge. The 2.5% credit card use charge is nonrefundable.If the cancellation is within the 14-day period of the trip date without medical reason, there will be no refund. If LSC fills the spot with someone on the waitlist, reimbursement may be available. Trips are non-transferable. Online Registration Information:-You do not need to be a LSC member to register for day trips. You must have an account set up in MY Rec to register online. If you are a 2024 LSC Member there is an account set up for you already.-Click on the trip you are choosing.
