Age Friendly activities are open to any person 50+ and no membership is required. These programs have body movement in mind! Wear comfortable clothes,sturdy foot ware,and bring a water bottle. #keepbodyandmindactive DROP IN PROGRAMS Registration not required! Chair YogaDebbie Hallowell has been a Yoga practitioner for over 15 years, trained in many levels of yoga. All levels of skills welcome.Time: Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. FEE:$3 Age Friendly Members. $4 Non MembersOpen Gym at the Armory Walking: Get your steps in! One time around the court is about 200 steps. Its warm and the floor is a safe and smooth surface. In an effort to promote healthy lifestyles the goal of this program is to encourage the area 50+ population to take advantage of the outdoors, get some exercise and eat healthy.The Bates Walking Group will start walking again Friday May 2nd until mid June at 10:00 to 11:00. Those who choose to can end the sessions at Bates Dining Commons to take advantage of their lunch menu for $12. (Credit cards only)We will meet at Bates College Campus on the right side of the Dining Services building at the red picnic tables and walk throughout the campus. In an effort to promote healthy lifestyles the goal of this program is to encourage the area 50+ population to take advantage of the outdoors, get some exercise and eat healthy.The Bates Walking Group will start walking again Friday May 2nd until mid June at 10:00 to 11:00. Those who choose to can end the sessions at Bates Dining Commons to take advantage of their lunch menu for $12. (Credit cards only)We will meet at Bates College Campus on the right side of the Dining Services building at the red picnic tables and walk throughout the campus. Lewiston Cheer Envy's Spring and Summer Cheering will work on a series of tumbling, stunting, and dancing programs that will keep your child active all season long!Please send your child with comfortable clothes, sneakers, and a water bottle. Table tennis supports hand-eye coordination, keeps reflexes sharp, and helps raise your heart rate! You will also meet players from around Lewiston who enjoy the sport.This drop-in program costs $2 for residents and $3 for non-residents.Registration is not required, although we recommend signing up for communication purposes.Questions?
